1. For Ganesha Sthapna: Take one supari. Wash it with Ganga Jal. Tie a mauli around it. Place it on a small mound of akshat (rice) on your puja platform.
2. Worship: Offer kumkum, chandan, akshat, and pushpa (flowers) to this supari while chanting "Om Gan Ganpataye Namah" before worshipping your main deity.
3. For Kalash: Drop one supari into your Kalash along with a coin, haldi, and akshat before placing the coconut on top.
